Job openings and a lack of interested candidates were a big surprise for most people in 2021. Everyone was hiring. Whatever the cause (and there’s a wide range of expert opinions), we needed to help Caliber find a solution to their recruiting efforts and find it fast.

The Approach

The priority staffing needs included multiple front- and back-of-house positions across the family of brands. With a savvy mix of ads across social, display, paid search (Google Ads) and YouTube, we targeted a wide range of people including the following groups:

  • Collision technicians
  • Competitive conquesting (both big brands and local mom-and-pop shops)
  • Interest in auto tech institutes
  • Contextual
  • In-market employment
  • Geography
  • Site visitors (retargeting)
  • And some secret sauce things we won’t be posting here
The results

Our research led us to create ads in both English and Spanish, and all focused on key “reasons to believe.” Each ad spoke to what would motivate our audience to make a massive life-changing decision like switching jobs or even changing careers.
